- Shutterfly is currently totally free with no limits. BUT they do claim to acquire license to use/distribute/reproduce your photos. This is the same language Facebook ran into problems with recently. If you ever might want to sell your pictures, stay far away. For regular people, maybe not a problem... Reviews of Shutterfly
- Snapfish claims unlimited storage with minimum purchase (1 print at 9 cents and 99 cents shipping). And it belongs to HP, so it's likely to stick around. They do warn that they may downsample (shrink) photos that are more than 9 megapixel resolution (HUGE, in other words). Same language as Shutterfly but (v. important!) specified to be for the service. Reviews of Snapfish
- SmugMug, which I'd never heard of before (what an awful name, IMO), is extremely popular with professional photographers. $39.95/year, unlimited storage. Very elegant-looking features like albums & slideshows--they care about esthetics. Reviews of SmugMug
- Flickr is $24.95/year (or $47.99 for 2 years) for unlimited storage.
- Kodak Gallery (used to be Ofoto) requires a minimum purchase of $20/year for over 2GB. Doesn't look promising.
- Zoto is like SmugMug but much smaller. $19.95/year
